THE CARTESIAN ROBOT

INTRODUCTION IP

In this first presentation of the Project I helped my team with the realisation of the protocol and with some more tinks what they need like making the circuits en baquelite, besides all the investigation, part of what was mentioned in the document to work. As a team we look at several sources of information about design a robot. Also from those sources of information we could make our protocol, so the same team we took the idea of thinking how will be our robot and how it going to work.
Finally, whole team revised the protocol to verify that this well designed and contains the main idea and relevant information. We hope everything has been correct for the presentation and not make mistakes.

REPORT 


For the second part of the project team about the Cartesian robot my team and I worked hard in the project, working, and collaborate as a team.

In the occasion do to the many task we had to do, in order to have an advance on our project, I got focussed making the document. I also helped my team members to construct the structure of the robot.

My team is satisfied with the results of the Cartesian Robot because we all work with dedication in the project of the robot. We implement various activities in the project because we had to do all the physical part of the structure, because they are very important for the proper functioning of the CNC

RESULTS AND CONCLUTIONS

In this project which was the realization of a Cartesian robot, we got many results, for example, the knowledge obtained on the stepper motors and integrated circuits, as well as the design of parts in the program called SOLIDWORKS. In the same way the experiences that we got to make the structure of the Cartesian robot This time, control circuits, besides the communication that there are betwee control circuits with C++ Builder program interface. The objective of the project is to trace a circle on a phenolic plate, to complete this, we had many problems, mainly mechanicals because we do not have the necessary knowledge in mechanics which causes slight flaws in the Cartesian Cartesian robot, also we had many problems with the code in C++ Builder, at the time of programming the circle and the circuits because some times the circuits fail.

Introduction

I want for this project to do the Cartesian Robot working the most efficient and obtain new knowledge about programming, engineerring drawin for me and my team.

For the control we will programming in C++ builder, this program will control the step motors of the Robot for move the drill.

For the step motors we will use integrated circuits for the signal received of the computer and move the steps necessary for move the robot to the point we want.
